The magic of dried flowers: a laborious process that reveals lasting beauty
In a world where everything happens so quickly, dried flowers have become a true symbol of serene beauty. They bring charm, delicacy and a natural touch to any space. But few people imagine how much work goes into each well-preserved flower in three-dimensional form.
The art of volume drying
We don’t make herbariums — we preserve the flowers with their natural volumes, their light petals and original shapes. To do this, each type of flower requires a specific method: some are hung upside down in a dark, airy place; others are placed in containers with sand or silica to maintain their shape and color.
The process can last from a few days to several weeks and requires constant monitoring. Excessive humidity can ruin the flower, while an environment that is too dry can dehydrate it aggressively. It is a delicate, artisanal work, done with experience, patience and a lot of love.
An exciting result
Seeing a candle decorated with lavender, roses or dried wildflowers is a way to understand that all the effort was worth it. Dried flowers do not wither — they stay with us, bringing calm, poetry and lasting beauty to the environment.
From nature to your home
In our studio, we hand-pick flowers from the fields and coasts of Portugal. We carefully dry them, carefully select them, and combine them with sensitivity to create unique pieces. It’s our mission: to give new life to the beauty of nature.
Because artisanal is not just about appearance. It is about the journey, care and soul.
